Seahawk Space Mission Infographic & Animation

My clients were scientists working on a space mission called SeaHawk. The mission involved the SeaHawk CubeSat, a small shoebox-sized satellite equipped with the HawkEye imager, that they built and sent to space to take ocean color images. Read more about the mission on the NASA site. Following the success of this mission, the scientists wanted a way to present the different aspects (the satellite’s technology/ journey/purpose, the camera lens technology, the impact) of the mission in a simplified way that any audience, even first-graders, could understand in an exhibit. I focused on explaining ocean color imaging and it’s importance. I created an infographic then animated the infographic into a short, digestible video, both of which are accessible below.
